Gocek is situated in the beautiful Gulf of Fethiye

at the foot of the Lesser Taurus Mountains.

It is twenty five minutes by road from Dalaman Airport.

Many gulet cruises start here

and it is about fifteen miles from Fethiye

and the start of the Lycian Way mountain walk.

Kayakoy the inspiration for

Louis de Berniere's book "Birds Without Wings"

is nearby as are many Lycian, Greek, Roman

and Byzantine archaeological sites.
