These two eighteenth century prayer kelims are from possibly Karaman. The damaged portion suggests long usage as prayer rugs and it is interesting to notice that the orientation of the Saf? Kelim was disregarded in this respect which poses more questions than answers! They were acquired from a Vakif foundation sale at Karapinar mosque.
